EU Blue Card Germany: Moroccan Applicants 2026

Germany’s employer-sponsored work visa for highly qualified Moroccan IT professionals. Requires a job offer, a recognised degree, and a salary of at least €45,934.20 gross per year for ICT shortage occupations.

Morocco-specific:Morocco joined the Hague Apostille Convention on 26 December 2016. Academic documents must carry an apostille issued by the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Diplôme d’Ingénieur from a Moroccan Grande École (5 years after baccalauréat) is typically recognised at master’s level (ISCED 7) and qualifies for the Blue Card. A 3-year Licence (LMD) may qualify at bachelor’s level but requires anabin verification. Germany operates two missions in Morocco: the Embassy in Rabat and the Consulate General in Casablanca.
